For two years Cowles Quilting has been carrying the New Joy "Gold Standard" frame, a quilting frame designed to take maximum advantage from longer arm sewing machines. Recently New Joy released a new quilting frame that not only caters to the small machines but also to the semi-industrial machines. Cowles Quilting is proud to introduce the "Magic" frame. 


New Joy's "Magic" quilting frame, makes the world of machine quilting less a dream and more a reality at a fraction of the cost of a traditional long arm quilting system. The "Magic"
frame is one of the most versatile table sets of it's kind. It has many desirable features such as, adjustable table length from 2 to 12 feet in 2 feet increments, 10 height settings to provide maximum comfortably no matter who uses it, and one of the more important features the magic frame is compatible with 10 9" semi-industrial machines and will accommodate a machine with up to an 18" throat. In addition to the compatible Janome models we offer, the Gammill Premier is also compatible.

The Gold Standard

New Joy's first frame the "Gold Standard", like the magic is a very versatile frame having three adjustable lengths a 47", 76" and a 105" (King Size) setting. The "Gold Standard" has a number of compatible machines (the Gold Standard is compatible to machines with a 9" throat only). The "Gold standard" is compatible with the Janome 6500, 6600 and the 1600.
